March 13, 2025 is the day that was kept embedded in my mind like an action movie.
How can I forget boarding a bus to Busia overnight and then in the morning connecting with another one from Busia Uganda side to a dusty town called Lugazi town to meet with scammers who then asked me to return to Kenya using Malaba.
For months I had been dreaming of getting rich quickly. A friend had convinced me that gold deals were the new way to make money.
He said with just one successful trip I could turn around my life and help my struggling family. I believed him.
I borrowed money from friends and relatives until I had two hundred thousand shillings which I carried with me to Uganda with big dreams in my heart.
When I arrived in Lugazi the so called gold sellers welcomed me warmly. They promised me that the gold I was buying would fetch millions once I returned to Nairobi.
They even displayed shiny items that looked genuine. My mind was already counting profits. Without much hesitation I handed over my hard earned two hundred thousand.
They gave me what I thought was gold carefully wrapped and instructed me to cross back to Kenya through Malaba customs.
What happened next shattered me. At the border the Ugandan police stopped me for a routine check. They opened my bag and examined the gold. Within minutes they told me it was fake.
“Banange. What are you carrying? Is this the business you have been conducting? For how long?” One of the cop asked me.
My world collapsed. I had just been scammed and now I was facing arrest for possession of fake gold. They held me at the customs office and for hours I thought my life was over. Prison and court became real possibilities.
I cried like a child. I begged for mercy because I had no idea that what I carried was worthless.
I explained how I had been conned and how my entire family depended on that money. Some officers mocked me saying Nairobi people are greedy for quick riches.
But one officer looked at me with pity. He whispered that he had seen many Kenyans fall into the same trap. He asked me to stop crying and then secretly advised me to seek real spiritual help if I ever wanted justice.
That night while I was still in custody I remembered how my mother used to tell me stories about Shaba Mangube Doctors.
She said they handle issues of betrayal theft and even scams through powerful revenge spells. I had never taken it seriously until that night when I realized I had lost everything. With my phone still with me I searched for their contact and finally got it. I dialed +254 795 613711 and spoke to them while holding back tears.
They listened to my story and assured me that the scammers who had taken my money would not go free. They promised me that the Revenge Spell would work swiftly and that my stolen money would find its way back to me. I held on to their words like a drowning man holding onto a piece of wood.
Days later I was released without charges thanks to that merciful officer. I returned to Nairobi empty handed and broken. But the story did not end there. Within weeks strange things began to happen.
The same scammers who had conned me started experiencing misfortunes. One of them even came back desperately begging to return my money in order to stop the torment that had befallen him. True to the promise I received my two hundred thousand back.
That was the day I knew never to joke with a revenge spell. What I thought was gone forever was restored. I cannot explain how it happened but I can testify that Shaba Mangube Doctors stood by me when the law could not.
Today I warn anyone who is tempted by quick riches. Be careful because not every shining stone is gold. And if you have been betrayed or robbed do not sit back in silence. Seek help.
