The festive season has already begun here in Uganda, and for many years this time of the year used to stress me instead of making me happy. My name is Caleb, and I come from Entebbe. For a long time, I worked hard but nothing in my life seemed to move forward. I ran a small mobile money and retail kiosk, but the business was always slow. Every December I watched other people celebrate while I struggled to raise even the smallest amount to take care of my family. It felt as if something was blocking my progress no matter how much effort I put in. I was tired, frustrated, and close to giving up completely.

I paid off my debts, saved some money, and even expanded my kiosk by adding new items. My family noticed the difference in my mood and my general well-being. For the first time in years, I felt like I had control of my life again.
What amazed me the most was how fast everything changed. I had been struggling for years, yet within a short time after seeking help, my life took a positive turn. The festive season was approaching, but for the first time, I didn’t panic about money. I could finally enjoy the celebrations with peace in my heart. I even managed to buy gifts and plan for a better start to the coming year.
