My house help introduced me to a cult

I was born and raised at Mona Farm in Molo, Nakuru County. I am the last born in a family of eight children and lost my parents many years ago. I want to share my journey in a church that I later realised was built on manipulation.

I met the prophetess who led that church through my house-help, who also worked as a caretaker in our apartments. She was struggling financially, so I employed her to support her family.

One day, after I paid her salary, she said she had to give all the money to her church as part of a pledge she had made. I remembered my own promise to God to one day support ministry, so I did not question it.

She often spoke about a woman they called “Mum,” a prophetess she believed was responsible for her getting the job in my house. She told me the prophetess had even predicted that her future employer would be wealthy and join her church.

I eventually agreed to visit. The church was a simple iron-sheet structure with plastic chairs, yet I felt I could worship there regardless of appearances.

From my first visit, the prophetess made sure I sat close to her during services. Soon I was invited to weekday prayers, where she claimed to see visions about my life.

She said someone was after me, creating a sense of danger that kept me coming back. At the time I was importing furniture from China, and they quickly learned about my work and finances.

I began to give offerings without hesitation, believing it was part of serving God. Over time I became deeply involved with the prophetess and her family.

I paid their rent, bought them shopping, and even sponsored almost half of their house-warming ceremony budget. I also became one of the largest contributors when they launched a fundraiser to buy church land.

Gradually, my own business began to fade. I stopped my imports and felt the need to seek her approval before making any decision.

When I started a rice business, it thrived, but I soon abandoned it because I was spending more time driving the prophetess to different places.

She even discouraged me from working with certain friends, claiming they had harmful spirits, which destroyed valuable relationships.

The prophetess’ influence reached into my family life. My daughter, who was about to sit for her final exams, became the subject of one of her so-called visions.

Days later, a freak accident left my daughter badly injured and needing surgery. The recovery was long and costly, and my daughter could not understand why such misfortune had come despite her strong faith.

I tried to keep my focus by opening a car wash business. Before I could start, the prophetess insisted on visiting the location to declare it spiritually acceptable. By then, I had noticed how members were expected to give large sums according to their wealth, sometimes up to ten percent of a business capital.

The turning point came when I saw how much control she had gained over my life. I had lost businesses, friendships, and peace of mind.

That was when my friend, who had been quietly observing my struggles, told me about Shaba Mangube Doctors. He said they could help me break the spiritual chains through a witchcraft spell for cleansing and protection.

I was hesitant but desperate to be free. But because I needed to be free, I called the doctors via +254 795 613711 and we talked for about 30 minutes of my self explaining issues.

The process with Shaba Mangube Doctors was unlike anything I had known in that church. There were no manipulations or unreasonable demands.

Instead, it was focused on protection, restoring my independence, and cutting harmful ties. Within weeks, I felt lighter, my business focus returned, and I began repairing broken relationships.

Today I share my story so others can see the danger of spiritual manipulation. Faith should build you, not drain you. I thank God and the help I received from Shaba Mangube Doctors for showing me that life after control is possible and freedom can be restored.
