After the 2022 general election, violence broke out in Mathare North in Nairobi, where allies of the Azimio candidate Raila Odinga started to cause mayhem, claiming the government had shortchanged Baba by making him believe he would be the next President, only for William Ruto to win.
Back then, I used to preach in a Mabati Hall that accommodated about 200 people, who were active congregants. Still, things changed immediately when the church was torched, basically because I am a Kikuyu. You understand the tribap fight? Right?
After, let’s say, like 4 months now, in December 2024, I tried to collect myself by rebuilding the church using old materials and hoping that my followers would return, but that wasn’t to be.
I remember operating for 3 Sundays with my wife, two boys and nobody even bothered to know what we were doing in the church.
It reached a point where I even became suicidal because my financial life was on a downward trajectory. I remember calling my spiritual father from Uganda, asking him if he could offer me a job to preach in a church.
The man responded calmly, “My son, do not worry, I have a solution. Soon you will be back to normal.”
When I thought the senior pastor was wishing me good luck and prayuñg for me, I saw him send a text message with phone number +254 795 613711.
He instructed me to call the number, promising me someone would pick up and then open up about my issues.
I did as instructed by my pastor, and guess what, it was a traditional doctor called Shaba Mangube.
To cut a long story short, the doctors gave me a handkerchief, instructed me to always use it to wipe myself after sleeping with women.
When I am not sleeping with any woman, I should tie it around my p*nnis the entire night and untie it when I am headed to church.
When I am in church, I should tie the handkerchief around the microphone with a promise that Christians will fill my church.
As we speak today, my church, located in Mwihoko, Githurai, is one of the leading churches in Kenya. We are about 1500 and we are building an auditorium. All this is courtesy of Shaba Mangube Doctor’s magic.
