Thug in Eldoret Hugs Street Preacher and Confesses to Stealing Bible from His Open-Air Crusade

Yesterday I witnessed something I have never seen since my mum brought me to this world 24 years ago. A young man, well known in the neighbourhood and who had been respected for keeping to himself, approached a pastor in the middle of a crusade and told him everything. Not just small things, but big things. He confessed openly to how he and his friends planned and carried out a robbery during a church crusade.

He said they waited until the crowd had gone home. They drunk all the altar wine. They broke into the tent where the instruments were kept. They took the microphones, the speaker batteries and even the holy books. The most painful part, he said, was carrying the preacher's Bible.
